Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream closes its Coral Springs location after 10 years of service
Coral Springs, Florida – A familiar ice cream shop in Coral Springs has closed its doors after a decade of serving made-to-order frozen treats.
Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream, located at 4356 N. State Road 7 in the Turtle Crossing shopping center, has ended operations at its Coral Springs location. The closure was announced through a farewell message posted on the shop’s door.
The message marked the end of a 10-year run in the community and thanked customers who had supported the business over the years.
“10 years in Coral Springs. Thank you for every equation,” the sign reads.
Chill-N offered a different experience from a traditional ice cream shop. Customers could select their preferred flavors and mix-ins before watching their dessert being prepared with liquid nitrogen.
The process allowed the ice cream to be frozen in front of customers, making the preparation itself part of the experience. The shop became known for combining customized ice cream with the visual effect of liquid nitrogen being used to create the finished treat.
There was no reason for the closure given in the notice posted at the Coral Springs location. Instead, the farewell message focused on appreciation for the customers who visited the shop throughout its years in the city.
“We’re grateful for every visit,” the sign reads.
The closing marks the departure of a business that had been part of the Coral Springs dining and dessert scene for 10 years. Customers who became familiar with the shop’s made-to-order concept will now have to visit one of Chill-N’s other South Florida locations if they want the same experience.
The company is directing customers to its remaining locations in Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation and Weston.
For local customers, the closure means the end of Chill-N’s presence at Turtle Crossing, but the brand continues to operate elsewhere in South Florida.
After a decade of serving customized ice cream in Coral Springs, the farewell message leaves the location with a simple thank-you to the community that supported it through the years.
