Coral Springs expands Fourth of July 2025 celebration with free fireworks and live music at Mullins Park
Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs residents will have even more reasons to gather at Mullins Park this Independence Day as the city rolls out an expanded Fourth of July celebration featuring live entertainment, family activities and a spectacular fireworks display. For the first time, the annual event will stretch across five hours, giving visitors an extra opportunity to enjoy the holiday festivities.
The free community celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mullins Park, located at 10000 Ben Geiger Drive. City officials announced that this year’s program has been enlarged to recognize a milestone that carries national significance — the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Mayor Scott Brook said the occasion deserved a bigger celebration for families and visitors alike.
“This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday,” Brook said. “We expanded the event with additional entertainment, activities, and an extra hour of fun to make this year’s celebration bigger than ever.”
The evening’s entertainment lineup will feature three live performances on the main stage near Field 2. Local audiences can look forward to sets by The Introverts and Should Have Been a Cowboy before headlining act Absolute Bon Jovi takes the stage to close out the musical portion of the event.
While the music plays, families with children will have plenty to explore throughout the park. A dedicated Fun Zone on Field 6 will offer inflatable attractions along with patriotic-themed games and contests. To help local residents spend less time waiting in line, the city is introducing an Express Lane for the inflatable area. Coral Springs residents can access it by registering at City Check-In Tents located on Fields 3 and 6, though proof of a valid Coral Springs address will be required.
The celebration will also include a variety of artisan vendors and food options spread across the park. Field 7 will host craft vendors, restroom facilities and a misting station where guests can cool off during the summer heat. Food trucks, snack stands and beverage stations will be available throughout the venue, including designated areas where adult beverages may be purchased.
Organizers are also placing an emphasis on safety. Parents can pick up complimentary child safety wristbands at any city information tent and write down a contact number in case children become separated from their families during the event.
The highlight of the evening is expected to be the annual fireworks show, which is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:45 p.m., weather permitting. As darkness falls over Mullins Park, the display will serve as the grand finale to a day filled with music, activities and community spirit.

Admission to the event is free, and parking will also be available at no cost, although officials note that on-site spaces are limited. Overflow parking has been arranged at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts and the Coral Springs Gymnasium. Visitors should also plan ahead for traffic changes, as Coral Springs Drive will be closed in both directions beginning at 6 p.m.
Guests are welcome to bring coolers, lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities comfortably. However, city officials remind attendees that outside alcohol, personal fireworks, staked umbrellas, flag poles and pets will not be allowed inside the event area.
