Sprouts Farmers Market celebrates its grand opening in Coconut Creek, offering special discounts and promotions to welcome customers

Coconut Creek, Florida – Sprouts Farmers Market officially opened its doors Friday morning in Coconut Creek, drawing a wave of eager shoppers, curious neighbors, and local officials who had long awaited the arrival of the specialty grocer.

The store, located at 1019 Lyons Road, marked its grand opening with special promotions, giveaways, and a festive atmosphere. The Coconut Creek location is Store #659 for the company and spans approximately 23,000 square feet. It’s situated at the corner of Lyons Road and Coconut Creek Parkway, in a newly developed plaza that’s quickly becoming a commercial hub.

To celebrate the launch, Sprouts offered 20% off all weekend long to in-store shoppers. As part of the opening day festivities, the first 200 customers received a complimentary reusable bag filled with product samples, and the first 400 guests were given a fresh rose as a welcome gift.

Excitement surrounding the store’s debut had been building for months, with many residents anticipating the addition of a health-focused grocery store offering a wide range of organic, natural, and locally sourced products. Local officials also expressed enthusiasm over the new addition to the community, which is expected to boost both convenience and economic activity in the area.

“This is a great day for Coconut Creek,” said one local shopper. “We’ve been waiting for a store like this, and it’s nice to finally have more options for fresh and healthy food right in our neighborhood.”

Sprouts Farmers Market, based in Phoenix, Arizona, has positioned itself as one of the leading specialty food retailers in the United States. The company focuses on fresh, natural, and organic products at affordable prices. With roughly 440 stores spread across 24 states—and about 58 locations now operating in Florida—Sprouts continues to expand its presence in fast-growing suburban markets.

The Coconut Creek store is part of a broader development by Strada CC Development LLC. In addition to the Sprouts location, the plaza will include a 1,500-square-foot Cali Coffee shop and a large 120,000-square-foot Sentry self-storage facility, further enhancing the area’s retail and service offerings.

With its bright interior, modern layout, and emphasis on customer experience, the new Sprouts location seems poised to become a staple for residents of Coconut Creek and neighboring communities.

The store is now open daily, and officials encourage shoppers to take advantage of opening weekend promotions while they last.
