From sharing stories online to creating a real-life community, Nicole Cumberbatch launches The Motherhood Village

Coral Springs, Florida – What started as a simple podcast has now blossomed into a nearly 5,000-square-foot community space for mothers and families in Coral Springs. Nicole Cumberbatch, a former accountant and HR professional, is set to open The Motherhood Village next month at The Walk of Coral Springs, offering a much-needed hub for local moms to connect, share, and support each other.

Cumberbatch’s journey to creating The Motherhood Village began with her own experiences as a mother. After the birth of her son, Jais, she struggled with exhaustion, the overwhelming expectations of motherhood, and the isolation that so many women face. Searching for answers, she started listening to experts, engaging in open discussions with other mothers, and ultimately launching The Motherhood Village Podcast. The podcast quickly grew into a platform where women could have honest conversations about the realities of motherhood, work-life balance, relationships, and self-care.

As the podcast gained traction, Cumberbatch expanded its impact by organizing annual conferences, bringing mothers together in person. However, she realized that occasional gatherings weren’t enough—mothers needed a consistent space to meet, bond, and find support in their daily lives. That realization led to the birth of The Motherhood Village as a physical space.

“There’s nothing like it in our area,” Cumberbatch said. “It started as a community digital space for moms to connect, support, and grow together, and now it’s a 5,000-square-foot center.”

Located in a repurposed space previously occupied by WowMoms World, The Motherhood Village will offer a variety of resources and activities designed to support both mothers and their children. The facility will feature dedicated rooms for arts and crafts, STEM projects, gymnastics, dance, and rock climbing, providing children with engaging learning and play opportunities while their mothers build relationships.

A key feature of the center will be its café, a relaxed gathering place where moms can enjoy coffee and conversation. Additionally, a private event room will be available for birthday parties, meetings, and workshops. Recognizing the diverse needs of children, Cumberbatch has also included a sensory room, offering a calming space for those who require it.

Beyond activities for mothers and children, The Motherhood Village will also include events for fathers, such as casino nights, as part of Cumberbatch’s vision for creating a fully inclusive community space. She is actively collaborating with local businesses, parent groups, and educators to ensure the center provides valuable programming and resources.

Set to open in the first week of April, The Motherhood Village represents years of work, passion, and dedication. More than just a business, Cumberbatch sees it as a true village—a place where families can come together, support each other, and build lasting connections.

“This will be a way to bring together families and truly build a village,” she said.

The Motherhood Village is located at 2902 University Drive in The Walk of Coral Springs. More information about the center and podcast can be found at themotherhoodvillage.com.
