Miami Kids Magazine organizes a parade and block party in South Miami to celebrate the start of the holiday season

South Miami, Florida – This weekend, Miami Kids Magazine and the City of South Miami launched the season by spreading festive joy.

More than 70 organizations came together to have a parade, Sunday afternoon.

The parade progressed along Sunset Drive, starting from U.S. 1 and concluding at Red Road, where a lively block party awaited, featuring delicious food, live music, and engaging activities.

Karla Richey, publisher of Miami Kids Magazine, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We’re very excited that everybody came from all over — from the City of South Miami, from different areas of Miami-Dade — to participate in this event.” “We offer snow tubing, where children can bounce down the slide. While there’s snow in Miami, we have our own snow right here.”
Everyone is feeling the energy.

Appearances by Billy the Marlin, Sebastian the Ibis and, of course, Santa Claus were a huge hit with the crowd.
