Coral Springs invites seniors to free health fair with screenings and wellness resources at gymnasium on Oct. 14

Coral Springs, Florida – Seniors in Coral Springs will have an opportunity to learn more about their health and connect with wellness resources when the city’s Senior Health Fair returns this month.

The free event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, located at 2501 Coral Springs Drive. The fair will run from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

According to the city, health care vendors will be set up inside the gymnasium, giving visitors a chance to explore health and wellness information in one location.

Health screenings will also be available during the event. However, the city’s event listing does not specify which screenings will be offered or identify the health care vendors expected to participate.

Admission to the Senior Health Fair is free.

In addition to health-related information and screenings, refreshments are listed among the offerings planned for attendees.

Despite its name, the event is not limited exclusively to senior citizens.

Family members and other residents are also welcome to attend. The city is extending the invitation to local business owners who provide products or services for seniors, giving them an opportunity to take part in the event as well.

The gathering is designed to bring health and wellness resources together in an accessible setting while allowing older residents and their families to learn more about services that may be available to them.

The morning schedule also gives visitors time to speak with participating health care vendors and seek information about wellness-related topics.

The Senior Health Fair is one of the city’s events focused on providing information and resources to Coral Springs’ older population.

Those interested in attending do not have to pay an admission fee, making the event available to seniors and other community members who want to learn more about health and wellness options.
