Coral Springs pair accused of using 65-year-old woman’s credit cards for clothing, cash and their water bill
Coral Springs, Florida – A Coral Springs man and woman are facing multiple charges after police accused them of using a 65-year-old woman’s business credit cards for purchases ranging from clothing and restaurant meals to cash withdrawals and a city water bill.
Juan Dominguez, 34, and Yamika Poulard, 30, were arrested Sept. 17 following an investigation into a series of transactions that police said occurred between July 29 and Aug. 10.
According to detectives, the pair used the woman’s credit cards seven times during that period, spending a total of $1,894.95. The woman told police that her cards had actually been used 26 times in Coral Springs, but she provided investigators with information about seven transactions for them to investigate.
The first transaction identified by police happened July 29, when $69 was charged at a Metro PCS location on West Sample Road.
The following day, investigators said, the cards were used at several businesses. Kohl’s security cameras on West Atlantic Boulevard captured Dominguez and Poulard inside the store with Poulard’s middle school-aged child. Police said the pair used tap-to-pay on their phones to purchase $501.50 worth of clothing.
Investigators determined that the woman’s credit card had been loaded onto the phones used for the transaction. A license plate reader also recorded Poulard’s gray Tesla at the shopping center around the same time.

The card was used again that day at a Caribbean restaurant in Margate, where police said $30.37 was charged. On July 31, another $282.79 purchase was made at Zumiez on West Atlantic Boulevard.
Several days later, investigators said the second card was used to withdraw cash. On Aug. 5, Dominguez allegedly went to a 7-Eleven ATM on North University Drive and withdrew $200, followed by another $180. A camera inside the store recorded him at the location, giving detectives additional evidence to connect him to the transaction.
One of the largest charges identified by investigators involved the couple’s home. Police said Poulard used the woman’s card on Aug. 10 to make a $581.29 payment toward the city water account for the Coral Springs residence she rents on Northwest 75th Avenue.
Detectives said the phone number listed on that water account was connected to the woman, further linking the transaction to the residence.
Investigators continued working on the case into September. In early September, a detective showed photographs taken from the Kohl’s and 7-Eleven surveillance footage to the pair’s next-door neighbors. Police said the neighbors immediately recognized Dominguez and Poulard.
On Sept. 17, detectives saw Dominguez get into the Tesla in the driveway of the residence. Officers stopped him on Northwest 76th Avenue, according to police.
During a search of the vehicle, officers found three cellphones, a mobile hotspot and a handgun magazine containing about 10 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, police said.
Investigators then contacted Poulard and asked her to come to the traffic stop to pick up the vehicle. When she arrived, police arrested her as well.
Both Dominguez and Poulard were booked into the Broward County jail. Each faces charges of grand theft from a person 65 or older, using the personal information of a victim over 60, credit card fraud, organized scheme to defraud and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The allegations are based on the police investigation and arrest reports. The charges remain accusations unless and until proven in court.
