Coral Springs chamber to host two-part AI training series for local business owners and professionals
Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce is preparing a two-part training series designed to help local business owners and professionals make better use of artificial intelligence in their everyday work.
The program, called “AI Institute: Beyond ChatGPT,” will take place this fall and will introduce participants to several AI platforms and tools. The sessions are intended to go beyond basic chatbot use and show how artificial intelligence can be applied to common workplace tasks.
The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 30, while the second will take place Thursday, Oct. 29. Both sessions will begin at 9 a.m. in the Everglades Room at Coral Springs City Hall, located at 9500 W. Sample Road.
Participants will be introduced to tools including Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Canva AI. The training will focus on practical uses rather than simply explaining what artificial intelligence is or how chatbots work.
According to the chamber, the sessions will cover ways AI can help users research information, develop content, analyze data and organize materials. The tools can also be used to reduce the amount of time spent on routine tasks.
The two-part format gives participants the option of attending a single session or taking part in the full series. This allows business owners and professionals to choose the option that fits their schedules and interests.
The cost for one session is $49 for chamber members and $69 for nonmembers. Those who want to attend both sessions can register for the series at a discounted combined rate of $89 for members and $129 for nonmembers.
The training comes as AI tools continue to become part of everyday business activities. Different platforms can now assist with tasks ranging from research and writing to organizing information and working with data.
The chamber’s program will introduce participants to several of those platforms in one setting, giving local professionals an opportunity to learn about tools they may be able to use in their own businesses or workplaces.
