Coral Springs City Historian to share local history at Rotary Club meeting
Coral Springs, Florida – Residents interested in learning more about the story behind Coral Springs will have an opportunity to hear from one of the people dedicated to preserving the city’s past. City Historian Cristina Fairhurst will be the featured speaker at an upcoming Rotary Club of Coral Springs meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will take place at La Pizzeria, located at 5632 Sample Road in Margate. The meeting is part of the Rotary Club’s continuing speaker series, which highlights local leaders, professionals and community experts who share their knowledge and experiences with residents.
Fairhurst serves as the City Historian for Coral Springs, a role focused on protecting, documenting and sharing the city’s history with the community.
