Saint Andrew Catholic Church returns with its annual fall festival filled with rides food and entertainment this Sunday

Coral Springs, Florida – Families in Coral Springs have a reason to celebrate this weekend as Saint Andrew Catholic Church revives its beloved Fall Festival, offering a full day of fun, food, and community spirit. The event will take place this Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 9950 NW 29th Street, welcoming residents of all ages to enjoy entertainment, local vendors, and activities for children.
The free festival promises a variety of attractions that appeal to every member of the family. Guests can explore a classic car show, ride a carousel, test their courage on a mechanical bull, or tackle a rock-climbing wall. “Ride bands will be available for purchase, providing access to attractions such as the bounce house, carousel, mechanical bull, and rock-climbing wall,” organizers said. Younger attendees can also enjoy face painting, games, and arts and crafts, while parents can browse a marketplace featuring 20 local businesses.
Food will be a central highlight of the festival, with meals prepared by Saint Andrew School parents and parishioners, giving the event a distinctly community-centered feel. In addition to fun and festivities, the Fall Festival carries a charitable purpose: proceeds from the day will support parish initiatives aimed at helping families in need as the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons approach.

This year’s event arrives during a transitional period for Coral Springs’ community calendar. The city recently lost two longtime festivals that had drawn residents together for decades. Earlier this year, the Coral Springs Festival of the Arts held its final weekend after nearly 20 years, citing rising costs and declining corporate sponsorship support. The festival had become northwest Broward’s largest cultural event, attracting more than 30,000 people each year.
Meanwhile, Our Town America, a fixture in the city for more than four decades, held its last event in 2023. Organizers cited challenges in finding new volunteers to carry on the tradition, leaving a noticeable gap in Coral Springs’ annual celebrations. The absence of these major events has left families seeking alternatives, and Saint Andrew Catholic Church’s Fall Festival has stepped in to fill that void.

By combining entertainment, food, community engagement, and charitable giving, the festival offers more than just a fun day out—it serves as a reminder of the strength and resilience of Coral Springs’ neighborhoods. Organizers hope the event will bring residents together, fostering connections while supporting those in need.
For locals looking to enjoy a festive Sunday, the Fall Festival at Saint Andrew Catholic Church represents both a return to tradition and an opportunity to create new memories. With rides, games, live entertainment, and a vibrant marketplace, the event underscores the enduring role of community-centered gatherings in bringing people together.
