Coral Springs invites residents to enjoy family fun nights featuring a recreation expo and a holiday movie event this fall

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs is inviting residents to enjoy a pair of Family Fun Night events this fall, offering opportunities for recreation, entertainment, and community connection. The events are designed to bring families together while highlighting the city’s recreation programs and seasonal festivities.
The first event, a Recreation Expo, will take place on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at a city venue. Residents will have the chance to meet instructors and organizers from a variety of Coral Springs recreation programs, learn about activities for all ages, and explore upcoming classes and events. The expo is free to attend and provides a hands-on way for families to discover opportunities to stay active and engaged within the community.
The second Family Fun Night is set for Wednesday, November 19, featuring an indoor movie experience. Families are invited to watch the holiday classic “The Polar Express” on a large inflatable screen inside the gym. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for comfort during the screening. Free treats will be provided, and additional concessions will be available for purchase. Pre-registration is required for this movie night, with registration opening on October 21. Both events are exclusively open to Coral Springs residents.
“These Family Fun Nights are a wonderful way for our community to come together,” said a city representative. “Whether you want to explore new recreation programs or enjoy a cozy movie night with the kids, these events offer something for everyone.”
City officials emphasized that the events are designed to be interactive and engaging, encouraging families to participate actively in the community while enjoying quality time together. The Recreation Expo allows families to speak directly with program leaders and gain insight into the wide range of opportunities offered throughout the city, from sports and fitness classes to arts and educational programs.
The indoor movie night offers a festive, family-friendly way to kick off the holiday season, combining a beloved holiday film with treats, comfortable seating, and a sense of community. With both events offered free of charge, Coral Springs is providing residents with accessible, enjoyable experiences that highlight the city’s commitment to family engagement and recreational programming.
Residents interested in attending the movie night should mark their calendars for October 21 when pre-registration opens to secure a spot for this popular seasonal event.
