Fire fire broke out Sunday morning at a Hollywood residence, investigation in progress

Hollywood, Florida – In the early hours of Sunday morning, first responders were called to an incident of fire at an apartment building located in Hollywood.

Units from the Hollywood Fire Rescue were promptly mobilized, arriving at the scene at the 2310 Pierce Street apartment complex around 5:40 a.m.

Upon their arrival, responders noted smoke emanating from a second-floor unit. The fire was successfully extinguished in due course.

It is important to note that at the time of the fire, the affected unit was unoccupied. Fortunately, no individuals were present in the affected residence during the incident.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Investigations into the origins and circumstances surrounding the fire are ongoing.
