Flame Japanese Hibachi prepares to open in Coral Springs at former Moore Fire Grill location

Coral Springs, Florida – A new Japanese hibachi restaurant is preparing to open on West Sample Road in Coral Springs, taking over the former home of Moore Fire Grill.

A “Coming Soon” banner for Flame Japanese Hibachi is now displayed at 6291 W. Sample Road, signaling the restaurant’s upcoming arrival.

Flame announced its plans for the Coral Springs location in a Sept. 19 Instagram post. An exact opening date, however, has not yet been announced on either the restaurant’s social media post or its website.

A sign posted on the restaurant’s door lists operating hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

When it does open, Flame will bring a menu centered around hibachi along with several other casual dining options.

According to the menu posted on the restaurant’s website, customers will be able to choose from hibachi plates featuring chicken, beef, shrimp, salmon or tofu. Each plate comes with a choice of two sides.

The restaurant’s Instagram announcement also highlights fried rice, noodles, bento boxes and combination plates.

But the menu stretches beyond hibachi.

Flame’s website lists sushi rolls as well as bento boxes, giving customers additional Japanese-inspired choices. Wings and tenders will also be available, with order sizes ranging from five pieces to much larger 100-piece orders.

Loaded fries are another option listed on the menu.

For drinks, the restaurant plans to serve boba tea and smoothies.

Flame describes its food as 100% halal.

New restaurant replaces Moore Fire Grill

The location previously housed Moore Fire Grill, a restaurant known for Southern cooking.

Dayne and Christina Moore operated the restaurant and moved into the West Sample Road space in 2022.

Moore Fire Grill ultimately closed after five years in business, leaving the storefront available for another restaurant to move in.

Flame Japanese Hibachi is now preparing the location for its next chapter.

The “Coming Soon” banner provides the most visible indication that the opening is approaching, although customers will have to wait for the restaurant to announce a specific date.

Once open, the restaurant is expected to operate daily based on the hours currently posted at the location.

The combination of hibachi plates, sushi, bento boxes, fried rice, noodles and other menu items gives Flame a noticeably different concept from the Southern cooking previously served in the space.

The addition will also bring another halal dining option to Coral Springs.

For now, the storefront remains in the preparation stage as Flame Japanese Hibachi gets ready to welcome customers at its new West Sample Road location.
