Coral Springs prepares to show residents how traffic, schools and safety priorities are advancing under Vision 2035
Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs residents will soon have an opportunity to see how the city is turning its long-term Vision 2035 plan into actual projects and initiatives, with an upcoming town hall set to provide an update on the work completed so far.
The event, called Vision in Motion, will give residents a look at this fiscal year’s work connected to Vision 2035. City officials are expected to discuss projects, strategic planning and other efforts aimed at carrying forward the priorities identified during the community’s original visioning process.
Vision 2035 was created as a long-term guide for Coral Springs. The plan is intended to help shape future planning decisions as well as city budget priorities, while keeping the focus on issues residents said matter most to the community.
The upcoming town hall will also give residents a chance to compare the city’s progress with the concerns and ideas they shared when the process began.
That public input came in 2023, when the city collected more than 2,000 responses through surveys, focus groups and interactive stations at community events. Residents were asked what they wanted Coral Springs to look and feel like by 2035.

Traffic control emerged as the most frequently identified area needing improvement, receiving 1,095 responses. Quality businesses followed with 1,007 responses, while quality of schools received 940. Crime and safety was also a major concern, with 906 responses.
Affordable housing was another issue residents highlighted, receiving 773 responses.
The feedback did not focus only on problems. Residents also pointed to several areas they viewed as strengths in Coral Springs, including recreation, community events, the city’s appearance and safety.
Those responses became part of a broader planning effort that continued into the following years. The process moved from the Visioning Summit in 2024 to Vision to Action in 2025.
Now, Vision in Motion is intended to show residents what has happened since those earlier stages and what the city expects to work on next.
The update comes as the city continues to use Vision 2035 as a framework for making decisions about the future. Rather than being limited to a single project, the plan covers a range of issues that affect daily life, from transportation and schools to business development, safety and housing.
For residents, the town hall could provide a clearer picture of how their feedback has influenced the city’s direction. The issues identified during the 2023 public outreach remain important points of comparison as officials review current work.

Coral Springs is also asking the public to complete a one-question survey about what residents enjoy most about the city. The survey provides another opportunity for community members to share their views as officials continue planning for the years ahead.
The Vision in Motion event is ultimately designed to connect the long-term goals established through Vision 2035 with the work now taking place across Coral Springs, while giving residents a chance to see where the city stands and what comes next.
