Coral Springs pet owners invited to receive free vaccines and microchips at upcoming wellness clinic hosted by Broward County

Coral Springs, Florida – Pet parents in Coral Springs have a special opportunity to ensure their furry companions stay healthy and protected without breaking the bank. Broward County Animal Care will be hosting a free Pet Wellness Clinic on Friday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3100 NW 19th Terrace in Pompano Beach.

The event promises no-cost rabies vaccinations and microchipping services for dogs and cats, all on a first-come, first-served basis. While pre-registration is available online, it’s important to note that it does not guarantee an appointment slot, so early arrival is encouraged.

“This clinic is part of our ongoing commitment to making pet health services accessible and affordable to all Broward County residents,” said Doug Brightwell, director of Broward County Animal Care.

In addition to vaccinations and microchips, pet owners will have the chance to register their pets on-site for a low fee. Animal Care will also offer access to its Tags for Life program, which provides lifetime registration for pets. The program costs $25 for pets that already have a microchip, and $55 for those needing one during the clinic.

The wellness event is open exclusively to Broward County residents, and all services require credit card payment for any additional costs such as pet licensing. No cash will be accepted. For the safety of all animals, dogs must be leashed and cats should be secured in carriers.
