Florida reporter and photographer shot on Wednesday while covering story, one of them died as a result of the injuries
ORANGE COUNTY, Florida — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says that two members of a television news organization were shot, and one of them died, while covering a story in Central Florida on Wednesday.
Sheriff John Mina made the news public at a news conference in the evening.
Mina said that a reporter and a photographer from Spectrum News 13 went to the Pine Hills area near Orlando where a woman in her 20s was shot and killed earlier in the day.
A 9-year-old girl and another woman were also shot inside a home. The child died in the end. Mina said she didn’t know why the gunman broke into the house.
This is 19-year-old Keith Melvin Moses, the suspect in a series of shootings today that left three dead, including a woman in her 20’s a 9-year-old girl and a News13 employee. We extend our deepest condolences to all of their families. This is a sad day for our community. pic.twitter.com/whq8DfbmPR

The sheriff said that they had caught a suspect in the shootings. Keith Melvin Moses, 19, was named as the suspect. Mina said that Moses has done a lot of bad things in the past.
Mina said that she doesn’t know if the shooter knew that the two journalists worked for a news agency.
The other people who were hurt in the shootings were taken to hospitals nearby to get care.
The sheriff said that they are still looking into what kind of relationship Moses might have had with the 20-year-old woman and what led to the other shootings.
The names of the people who died have not been made public.
