Miami police searching for a missing elderly man

MIAMI – Police need public assistance in their search for a missing 77-year-old man in downtown Miami.

City of Miami Police say that the last time anyone saw Lazaro Ymas Davila was on Thursday. He was driving a black 2022 Chevrolet Malibu in an unspecified part of downtown.

He is around 5’ 7’’ tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.

He was dressed in a white and blue shirt, blue shoes, and blue jeans the last time he was seen.

The vehicle that Davila was seen driving on Thursday has Florida license plates 36BPXS.

Authorities ask anyone with information on Davila’s location to call Miami Police Detective Ramos or any on-duty detective of the Special Victims Unit of the Miami Police Department at 305-603-6300 or 305-579-6300.
