Morgan Wizst expands her mission to bring accessible swim lessons and lasting confidence to Broward County

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs has long been known for its strong youth sports culture, but one of its most passionate contributors is doing her work far beyond school boundaries. Morgan Wizst, a Coral Springs Charter graduate and the current swim coach at Coral Springs High School, has quietly built something that is reshaping how families across Broward County think about water safety, confidence, and personalized coaching.

Wizst created Morgan Swim School with the kind of determination that often begins with a single moment of clarity. After graduating high school, she worked at a local swim school and quickly realized that teaching wasn’t just a job; it was what she genuinely wanted to do every day. “Before starting my own business, I worked at a swim school right out of high school, which made me realize this was my passion, so I decided to open up my own swimming business,” Wizst said. “I did it as just a fun little thing, and now it has become so much more.”

What sets Wizst apart isn’t just her technical skill, but her decision to bring the lessons directly to the families who need them. Instead of operating from a single pool, she travels throughout Broward County, stepping into private backyards and community centers to teach swimmers of every age and ability level. Her students include beginners who fear the water, competitive athletes looking to sharpen their strokes, and children with disabilities who need specialized attention. She has even taught deaf children, tailoring her lessons with patience and clear communication.

Through every session, Wizst carries a simple mindset into the water. “Every time I get in a pool, I want them all to leave with a smile and confidence,” she said. That philosophy has quickly turned her one-person idea into a growing local resource, with families recommending her through word of mouth and returning year after year for refreshers.

Her pricing remains straightforward and accessible for families juggling busy schedules. She offers five-lesson packages for $175, a sibling package at $150 per child, and individual 30-minute sessions for $45. Lessons are designed to be flexible, allowing parents to choose locations that feel comfortable and convenient.

For Wizst, though, it’s not just about teaching a life skill. It’s about creating spaces where kids and adults alike can feel strong, safe, and capable—one lesson at a time. What began, in her own words, as “just a fun little thing” has quietly become a trusted service across Broward County, and a point of pride for a coach who continues to invest her time and energy into the community that raised her.
