James S Hunt Elementary invites families to attend Owl Be Ready for Kindergarten event in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, Florida – James S. Hunt Elementary is inviting families of incoming kindergarten students to a special event designed to help both parents and children prepare for the transition to school. The “Owl Be Ready for Kindergarten” event will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with two sessions available at 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., providing families flexibility in attending.

The event is specifically geared toward children entering kindergarten for the 2026–27 school year, giving parents the chance to gather important information about enrollment and school procedures while helping children feel more comfortable in a classroom setting. Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026, to be eligible for enrollment.

During the event, families will have the opportunity to meet school staff, tour kindergarten classrooms, and receive registration guidance, ensuring a smooth and informed start to the school year. School officials emphasized that the program is intended to make both parents and children feel confident and prepared for this important milestone.
