Coral Springs company 24By7Security begins a new chapter after being bought by national cybersecurity firm Amplix

Coral Springs, Florida – A well-known Coral Springs cybersecurity firm is entering a new chapter after being purchased by a national technology company looking to widen its reach across the industry. 24By7Security, a consulting firm that has operated in the city for more than a decade, has been acquired by Amplix, according to an announcement released this month.
24By7Security has long been a familiar name to organizations in high-stakes fields such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and technology. From its office at 4613 N. University Drive, Suite 267, the company has provided a wide range of support, including cybersecurity program development, risk assessments, compliance services, incident response planning, and hands-on security testing. Founded in 2013, the Coral Springs team built a reputation for being a reliable partner for clients that needed to strengthen their defenses in a rapidly changing digital world.
Amplix, which is based in Norwood, Massachusetts, confirmed the acquisition in a Nov. 18 press release. The company is backed by private equity firm Gemspring Capital and works nationwide as a technology advisor for businesses seeking help with communications, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and infrastructure planning. “The deal will expand its cybersecurity services,” Amplix said in its announcement, although neither company disclosed the acquisition price.
By bringing 24By7Security under its umbrella, Amplix said it aims to help its more than 3,500 clients better navigate security risks and meet strict compliance standards across different systems. The company also noted that combining teams will make it easier to guide customers through complex projects involving both technology upgrades and cybersecurity strategies.
For 24By7Security, the move represents a chance to grow beyond its South Florida roots. Founder Sanjay Deo said the partnership will strengthen the firm’s ability to reach a wider group of businesses. He emphasized that both companies share the same values when it comes to operational discipline and understanding client needs. Deo highlighted that alignment as a key reason the merger made sense for his team.
As part of the transition, the 24By7Security staff will officially join Amplix and continue working under the Amplix brand name. The companies said the combined group will be positioned to expand services while maintaining the level of support clients expect.
With employees already spread across more than 20 states and Canada, Amplix plans to integrate the Coral Springs office into its national network. For the local team, the acquisition marks both an ending and a beginning — a shift from an independent operation to part of a larger organization, but one that still allows the Coral Springs professionals to keep doing what they have done for years: help businesses stay secure in an increasingly unpredictable online environment.
