Long Island Bagel Café announces plans to open a new location in Coral Springs with exciting menu options

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Springs is about to get a taste of New York as Long Island Bagel Café announces plans to open a new location in the city. Co-founder Randy Narod confirmed on Tuesday that the popular café, known for its authentic New York-style bagels, will soon bring its signature menu to South Florida.

The new Coral Springs café will occupy the former Hurricane Grill & Wings space at 6240 Coral Ridge Drive, which has been vacant since June. Narod said the lease has been signed, and the team is currently navigating the permitting process to get the café ready for customers.

“It takes about four to five months to build out,” Narod said, adding that the grand opening is expected in roughly six months. The timing suggests that Coral Springs residents could be enjoying fresh bagels and cream cheeses by late spring or early summer of 2025.

This new location will be the second Long Island Bagel Café in Florida, following the recent expansion into Boca Raton. In addition to Florida, the café has 10 locations across New York, all co-owned by Narod and his brother-in-law, Joseph Anzalone. The Coral Springs addition signals the brand’s continued growth in the region and its commitment to bringing New York bagel culture to Florida.

Long Island Bagel Café is celebrated for its wide selection of bagels and cream cheeses, offering everything from traditional favorites like everything bagels with scallion cream cheese to more unique options such as bacon garlic cheddar. Narod highlighted that the menu also includes weekly specials that rotate with the seasons, providing customers with fresh and creative options throughout the year.

The café has long been a staple in New York, known not just for its food but also for its community-focused atmosphere. With the Coral Springs location, the brand hopes to replicate that welcoming environment while introducing Floridians to the flavors and experience of a New York-style bagel café.

Residents in Coral Springs have expressed excitement over the announcement, eager for a new breakfast and brunch spot in the city. With the construction and permitting process underway, anticipation is building for the café’s grand opening.

Narod and his team are focused on ensuring that the Coral Springs café captures the same quality and authenticity that has made the Long Island Bagel Café a beloved brand in New York and Boca Raton. With a timeline of roughly six months until opening, it won’t be long before locals can enjoy freshly baked bagels, creative cream cheese spreads, and seasonal specials in the heart of Coral Springs.

For many in the community, the arrival of Long Island Bagel Café represents not just another dining option but an opportunity to experience a piece of New York culture in their own backyard. The café promises to be a new hub for breakfast enthusiasts, families, and anyone looking for a satisfying and authentic bagel experience.
