Two people are hospitalized following a serious two vehicle crash on Sample Road in Coral Springs that closed the roadway for several hours

Coral Springs, Florida – Two people were hospitalized following a serious two-vehicle crash early Friday morning that temporarily closed a major section of Sample Road in Coral Springs. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. near the intersection of Sample Road and Holiday Springs Boulevard, according to the Coral Springs Police Department.

Police reported that one person is in serious condition, while another remains in critical condition following the collision. Both drivers were transported to Broward Health North for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.

The crash prompted the closure of Sample Road between Rock Island Road and Holiday Springs Boulevard while emergency responders managed the scene and conducted an investigation. Residents and commuters were advised to seek alternate routes during the closure. After several hours of work, the roadway was cleared and reopened to traffic around 11:30 a.m.
